How is it made?

​

Each piece of jewellery our gallery is made from fused glass. Fused glass is created with a process that involves cutting, shaping and placing together various colours and types of glass, then heating them to various temperature to fuse the glass together. Different levels of heat produce different results, which means every single piece of jewellery is individual and unique!

Once the glass is fused, each piece is ground, polish fired and then has the 'Eco' Sterling Silver findings carefully attached. 

​

Every piece has gone through multiple processes to get it to the stage where you see it. It's a fascinating and wonderful process as you never know quite what you'll get!

What is 'Eco' Sterling Silver?

 

'Eco' Sterling Silver is an ethical alternative to newly mined silver; made from recycled jewellery, medical equipment and electronics. At gla:s art only use 'Eco' Sterling Silver in our jewellery pieces.

​How Do I Place An Order?

 

All orders must be placed directly via the website. Simply add whichever item you want to basket, and once you are happy with your selection you can move on to Checkout and complete your purchase.

 

Payment and Shipping

 

Payment must be made at the time of placing an order. No order will be placed without completing and submitting payment details.

​

We accept payments via PayPal or card (using the secure platform of Stripe). We can also accept bank transfers if you prefer.

​

Orders will be shipped promptly on receipt of order. We aim to ship within 1-3 working days following order placement, though occasionally we may experience delays during busy periods. 

​

Orders are only shipped to the UK currently, but we are working on shipping worldwide. 

​

All orders are sent via Royal Mail either First Class, Second Class or Special Delivery.

​Secure Ordering & Payment Options

 

Our website platform, Wix, provides you with a safe and secure browsing experience. All our payment options are also very secure, trusted platforms to give you peace of mind when ordering.

​Returns & Refunds

 

You have 30 days to change your mind with any purchase you make! If you decide a piece is not for you, please get in touch before you send it back so we can be sure to expect it. Any items sent back due to a change of heart need to be in perfect condition for reselling, and at the cost of the customer.

Any damaged items must be reported upon receipt, and we will work with you to find the best resolution.

At glad:s art we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our customers and site visitors. This Privacy Notice explains in detail the types of personal data we may collect about you when you interact with us. It also explains how we’ll store and handle that data, and keep it safe.
